Grievance Redressal Mechanism (GRM) in NAHEP

A Grievance Redressal Mechanism (GRM) has been setup in NAHEP to establish a fair and transparent system. In the system of GRM, the following mechanism is adopted

All the complaints will be registered in writing (letter/ e-mail) or through phone-calls, and will be acknowledged and registered in a grievance log and a receipt/tracking number will be provided. This will be done at SAU level.The complaints will be handled promptly, depending on their nature and complexity, and will be resolved within ten working days. In case of delay, Nodal Officer (GRM) will ensure that the complainant is informed of the progress.In case of non-redressal at the end of the SAUs/Institute, the complaint will be referred to the Under Secretary at PIU NAHEP for any guidance/direction in the matter.There would also be a provision for continuous monitoring of the GRM.
